So I got a Spikes tactical complete lower with a carbine buffer tube. I want to put a 20" RRA Predator Pursuit on it that has a rifle length gas tube. I already got a magpul ACS-L stock for it, will having a rifle system on a carbine buffer tube cause problems? Thanks in advance.

A buffer tube, is a buffer tube, is a buffer tube.... You shouldn't have to swap anything on your lower when it comes to different length gas systems on your upper. You might on occasion have to swap to a lighter or heavier buffer spring or buffer itself, depending on swapping from one caliber to another (especially rifle caliber to pistol caliber). But other than that, you shouldn't have to swap anything.

Also this info might help. It has a Spikes ST-T2 Buffer and a 17-7 Stainless Buffer Spring. In my mind I see a heavier buffer vs a lighter gas system with the rifle length tube cause cycling issues maybe? Thanks

You said swapping the buffer tube....You never said the spring and buffer itself. Which is why I pointed out that it would make zero sense to do that.

Also notice that I did mention swapping out the springs and buffers according to your ammunition's recoil. The gas system length makes no difference. Only the powder charge of the load. Super or subsonic, suppressed or unsuppressed. Which is why some gas systems have adjustable gas blocks to adjust the cycling.

To clarify. Please bear with me. Most of this is new. Want upper with rifle length gas system. Will it work on a lower that has a carbine Buffer tube. Thanks

Yes.

"Carbine" buffer tube is just for a shorter or adjustable butt stock.
