It will give you specific details on how to look up manufacture date.
It should be stamped in Code on your barrel. I AM thinking 1981 manufacture on this action….

Sometimes the codes are more legible than others……I have dated quite a few M700's off of their info

Very cool. I have a friend with a 1965 (a year older than me) 30'06 ADL that shoots as well or better than most production rifles built today

It was my first rifle because my older brother didn't like the kick he took the 30-30. It is still a tack driver, I loaded 190 gr accubond lr before that 180 soft points, I plan on dropping some hammers next
