Can a 1-10\" twist barrel in .224 cal stabilize the Amax 75 grn?

Contemplating getting a new rifle. Already have 22-250's and 223's. Want to shoot the 75 Amax fast. Winchester has their rifles built with 10 twist in 223 WSSM. Any guess if ti will stabilize these bullets?

I have been doing research into building a 22/6mm for about 12 months and am currently finalising on the reamer specs.
I expect 75 gr AMax to run about 3700 - 3800 fps with 27" barrel.
Twist required with these velocities for 75 AMax is 1/9 from all reports. 80gr SMK also will be trialled which really need a 1/8 so I split the difference 1/8.5 twist.

At the velocities a 223 WSSM will reach [slower]compared to the 22/6mm and 75 AMax I suggest you need at least 1/8.

I shoot the 75gr A-Max from a 22-243AI. Velocity is 3,670 ft/sec from the 28" Hart barrel. Although my barrel shoots quite well with the 8 twist, the 9 twist is adequate.

The 9 twist should also be adequate for .223, 22-250, 220swift, etc.

When those bullets first came out, they said right on the box to use in 1-8" twist barrels. Now they say 1-9". I have a few of the 8's left and they measure the same in every way to the 9's. I bet that they will work ok in a 10" twist if the velocity is there and the air is thin and warm. Using a 28" barrel, a 22-250 improved will push them in the velocity range you are looking for while burning a little less powder than the 22-6mmAI and the 22-243AI. P.S. You might also want to run a 6 or 8 groove barrel to shoot that Amax as it seems to be easier on the jacket of that fragile Hornady. Fifty driver and I had an interesting conversation on that topic, and we both thought there might just be something to it!
