Socialistic anti-American bureaucratic governmental control. They forget the constitution was made for the people to control the government, not for government to control the people!

What was really going on that they had make that law? People breaking into other peoples houses and getting shot? Haven't heard any news on that. What was really an issue where they needed a new law?

Already a lawsuit filed against it. It wont stand in court. But hey, it panders to their base and they can say they tried.
I hope that I am not violating the LRH Rules by discussing current issues pertaining to our rights as US citizens and the Second Amendment. If I am offending anyone, I will respectfully delete my posts per LRH Rules. The last thing I want to do is be banned from LRH. We think that at least 95% of the people on this Forum are great people.
It's even more terrible when you lose your Constitutional Right to own firearms and have to say "I lost them, they were stolen, fell out of the boat" and you keep them under the floorboards in the back shed.
Hiding your Legally owned firearms is not the answer. Going to the Balot Box and using you voting rights to elect officials that uphold the Constitutional Laws that were written when our Republic was formed is the answer.
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS A REPUBLIC.
IT IS ALL UP TO THE PEOPLE WHAT LAWS ARE BEING CHANGED AND/OR INFRINGED UPON IN THE CONSTITUTION!
PEOPLE VOTE IN THEIR REPERSENTATIVES, WHICH IN TURN MAKE THE LAWS.

I would be surprised as to how many people have a copy of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States in their procession let alone knowing what is included in these Historical documents and what they "the WORDS" actually mean!
Coyote shadow tracker thanks for your post I was having a hard time understanding what troupe was talking about, all my guns are legal.
And why would my guns not be legal ! What does that suppose to mean ? Really! Here is my explanation to all, about my comment. It was meant to be tongue and cheek meaning that I would not give up my guns so easily and be forced to pay something solely because I am a gun owner, and enjoying my constitutional rights that are granted to all of us. Thank God, I do not live in that part of the country where the good folks rights are being violated. Hopefully for the good folks out that way, you can make some changes by voting. My heart goes out to them as brother and sister gun owners. No more comments from me on this subject, sorry it was taken out of context.

That'll most likely get held up in Appeal Court. A bigger threat might be a projection of increased copper costs. If that happens a my guess is an even bigger environmentalist push for all copper bullet requirements. Decrease the amount of hunters and it's easier to limit 2A rights even more.
