This is true. We do have great hunting country here. I don't do tree stand anything. Texas does have a lot of great hunting but much of it is tree stand hunting. That is not what I call hunting. Thats more like shooting fish in a barrel. Not much sport, and not much of a test of ones marksmanship skills. Can you imagine the embarrassment missing something that close. WOW! :cool:

The easiest way to find a warden in the state is to bring a spot light with you. Leave it in the tool box. In the evening after taking your game, find a high vantage point and shine it at all the other mountain tops. Maybe fire a shot.
Has worked for me the past two years in a row. Just make sure you stash the spot light after you use it.
They will show up in a hurry if they think there is revenue to be had.
