Does anyone know if this scope adjust for angled shots up or down as well? And can this scope take recoil from a 300 RUM ok? Thanks

Up and down yes. Should be fine a 300 rum. Mine is on a .280 and love it

Good to hear, question for you . Im really wanting to try a box of the new nosler 210 accubond long range stuff, but it is obviously not in the cartridge list that burris has. and I cant find a comparable one in the cartridge list burris has for the drop. Can I add the one provided with the new nosler 210 without any problems. Thanks

I have mounted several on my custom 338-378 Weatherbys. My Weatherbys shoot a 280gr Barnes at 3150 so I can guarantee they can handle recoil. Be sure to check the computer adjustment @750 and know your true BC. I you get a manufacture that lies it makes the process a little more difficult. I can tell you that the Doppler method used by Barnes is somewhat accurate. Know your altitude..Pick a cartridge in the instruction manual that mimics yours. It doesnot have to be your exact same cartridge. PM me if you have issues I can assist you.

Thanks for your help. Ive got the scope on order, will have in 5 days from this tuesday. Are all those ballistics from the cartridge list programed into the scope? And if yes, I wonder why burris didn't incorperate some way via a mini usb port to be able to keep updating the ballistics on the scope. Thanks

I dcon't have one, but one guy in our group does and his is on a 6/5 Creedmore and he loves it. I think thyey look a bit clunky and the reticle appears (to ma at least) to be a bit busy).

I can't warm up to the physical look of it, but thats just me.

There is a mini usb port on mine in the battery compartment. All I did was took my drop info that i got off of JBM ballistics and used that to set up my scope. to adjust for elevation or say temp they do something a bit different and adjust your bullets BC to make everything match. I found a bullet on their list that is supplied with the scope and went with the recommended bc change for that bullet per 1000 ft and their inches of adjustment change at 750 yd per 1000ft up or down in elevation. I cross referenced their numbers with JBM and they were within 0.5 of an inch at 750 yards so that works for me. It all sounds really complicated but read through the instructions and it will all start to make sense.

hi just wanting to know if anybody has done any testing with handloads 176 g atips from hornady in a 300wsm.
sighted in @ 100 yards
shot at 750 yards dead on
moved back to 550 yards and it shoots high
is this a BC issue I have the BC at .564 as it states on box
im thinking that the BC curve is not right maybe adjust to higher BC value
any help will be welcome
thanks Scott

Hi Scott, you're correct in your thinking. If you're on at 750, the in-between is all a function of bc. Shooting high, adjust bc up until it hits where you want.
