Burris Eliminator 3 on Muzzleloader?

I will try but do not think it will work...

The first step to setting up scope is to zero it at 100 yards.

Shoot it.

Chronograph the load.

Use a ballistic table or calculator and find your drop #(in inches) and enter B.C, drop # into scope.

Next step would be to shoot at 600-700 yards and see where group prints.

If it's high lower the drop # ....if it's low raise drop # until group prints on target.

Then you should be good with max range of load....for a 7mm rem mag it's around 1000 yards with this scope.

No problem.

I bought for 7mm but I am going on Blackpowder Mule Deer hunt so wanted to use it for that.

In the future I will look at the updated model good for low velocity.

Be sure and take into account the energy required at long range. Most ML will not penetrate the skin on the far side of a deer past 200 yds. I know.

Mine penetrated just fine at 256. I fully intend on taking it out farther.

I tried to use the eliminator also. Unfortunately it just doesn't work.
