Bullet recommendation for 300 win mag

Hey everyone, I just bought a savage long range hunter in 300 win mag, they say 26" barrel, about 24" is actually used cause of break I would imagine. Anyhow it has a 1 in 10 twist and was wondering where you guys would start out in regards to bullet weight and type. I plan to hunt deer and elk with this rifle, then obviously paper.

Nothing under 180gr. The heavier the better for long shots.

If you really want to ring it out, I would stay with 200 to 210 range. No need to go heavier. The Nosler Accubond 200, Hornady 208 A-max or BTHP, Sierra 210SMK, or Berger 210. All these will give you the punch you are looking for and the ability to open at lower velocities down range.
