building a 338am

During one of my dreamin' moments I checked w/Kirby and there is no problem get a 338 AM to meet the Idaho weight limit which is 15#, with all attachments.

Two keys: The smith has to know how to do it and only the lightest of stocks as in Manners/etc will do it.

As said above talk to Kirby.

Shoot me an e-mail with all your questions and I will get you whatever information you want on a sub 16 lb rifle and prices.

Roy,

I believe the Idaho weight limit is 16 lbs ready to hunt with. AT least thats what I had to meet when I hunted with Shawn Carlock a couple years back???

Yes, the Idaho weight limit is 16#.

Anybody ever see a game warden with a scale? My new rifle doesn't make weight I don't think.
