building a 338am

Here is a post with the vitals of my 338AM that Kirby built. It weighs 18lbs, but with his new barrel contour and a saddle adjustable cheekpiece instead of the wheel, I think it would be down at 16lbs with a light bipod.

During one of my dreamin' moments I checked w/Kirby and there is no problem get a 338 AM to meet the Idaho weight limit which is 15#, with all attachments.

Two keys: The smith has to know how to do it and only the lightest of stocks as in Manners/etc will do it.

As said above talk to Kirby.
