I am considering changing a Remington 700 police in 223 into a tack driving 6.8 spc medium range rifle. I obviously need to change the barrel which will be done by a local gunsmith and I was curious what other changes I need to make? Will the 223 bolt work with the 6.8 or will I need to replace or enlarge the bolt. Also what type of changes need to occur to the magazine. Also looking for a barrel that would be around 20" with a unique type of rifling... any suggestions. Finally what twist looking to shoot 110 to 115? Thanks for help
