Changed direction from a Short Barreled 6.5 SST to a 7mm Sherman Max, so this barrel is for sale. Number 3 contoured 28" Brux blank 8 twist fluted in 6 straight flutes by Karl Feldkamp for a finished length from 22-23".

Located in Middle TN.

$425 Shipped.

The barrel blank is about 3 lbs prior to fluting. I will say it will finish at 22" about 2lbs 4 oz. I built a short action Ultramag on the same contour finished at 23" with brake on a reminton SA and mcmillan edge stock which was 6 lbs 2 oz before scope if that gives you an idea. Its what I try to use on any lightweight build I do while not going pencil thin. Any thinner and I tend to see heat affect accuracy early.

A smith might be able to chime in and give a better guess, but id say that's close.

I have a 31" Hart #5, .284, 1:8 twist with flutes done at hart, was going to go a 28nos but already have 7mm rem Mag... so really looking at the 26nos or 6.5-300, if you are interested in a trade? Making sure it's a 28" blank, correct?
