If anyone is looking for a new rifle. Buds gun shop has these and Browning is offering a 10% rebate. $684 after rebate.

My buddy and I bought 6.5 creedmoor ( shaking head) . They are 1-7" twist too.

We needed cheaper to shoot, long range rifles to practice with, instead of our magnum hunting rifles.

That's a killer deal on a solid rifle. I think they are putting 8 twist barrels in their 7mm rifles, about time!

Good for you. The creed gets knocked a lot, but if you're serious about lr shooting a person should have a practice rifle.
Weird about the twist, you won't have any trouble shooting Sierras 150's anyways

8 twist on the 300wm too...+1 on the about time

I know there were a few threads I was watching that guys were talking about them changing the twists. Figured I'd let everyone know about this deal too.

This is my second Browning in the last few months. Can't beat it. Thought I'd never buy anything but Remington's.

Browning makes a fantastic rifle. I was going to build a 7mm on a Remington 700 action with an 8 twist but now that Browning has the 8 twist I'm just going that route. 6.5 creed is a good cartridge don't let anyone fool you. The people that knock it generally have little to no experience with them. Great practice round out past 1000
