I purchased an AGS unit this year as well and could not be happier.
my brother bought one the day he watched mine work.

I also got the AGS unit a couple of months ago. Works great so far. It did take about 8 weeks from order to delivery.

I have the annealeeze. $300 all in. Couldn't be happier. It has been improved nicely from the 1.0. Easy to set up, works as it is intended.

What was wrong with the first units?

Nothing is wrong with em. But the feeding system is improved. The analog dial has been replaced with a digital control. It has been improved.

The EP Integrations annealing machine may be an excellent lower cost option for annealing brass. I don't own one so I don't know. I do have an AMP annealer and like how it anneals brass. Unless this poster owns an AMP annealer I have no idea how they can state they "shoot as good if not better then(sic) the $1500 annealer" There's nothing wrong with really liking your stuff, but facts trump opinion.

Freaky drill, propane torch turn drill slow for a count of 6-8 seems to work. Not as perfect as the high dollar stuff but it still anneals

How many pieces of brass can you load on it at one time it doesn't look like it would hold more than a couple of pieces of brass and you have to sit there and feed it?

Guy up in Montana makes a machine for $175. You have to feed it ano it has a variable speed so you can set the speed for different cartridges. If any one is interested, i'll try to have him send the video of it in operation. I'll also see if he minds passing his number so you can contact him
