Re: Bow hunting Feral Pigs/Hogs

Bow hunting hogs is a lot of fun and can be done year round.

It is good practice for other large game because of there sense of smell and hearing.

Most of our bow hunting is from elevated stands or out of trees because of the shot
angle. (The lower exit hole aids in tracking).and safety. (As you know sometimes the big
boars can be trouble when wounded and a safe place is all ways good planning).

Also when tracking carry a Large hand gun for backup.

Hog hunting will hone you shooting and hunting skills and also test your equiptment for
weaknesses.

J E Custom,
Good advice, in that sense I wished I had feral hogs in my country:)
Will be putting a lot of their meat in my freezer:D
