Bottom Metal Questions

I'm gathering parts to build my first Long range Rifle. I'm using a Model 700 long action. I am keeping a close eye on weight and will be purchasing a carbon fiber stock. With that in mind what do you suggest for bottom metal, aluminum BDL? Would it be lighter to go with a blind magazine (ADL). Thanks! K
