I am just getting into long range shooting and hunting here in the mountains of north Idaho. I have a new unfired Sako TRG 42 in 338 Lapua and Zeiss range finder and spotting scope, all brand new. I have reloading tools and have reloaded for 40 years and of course, want to get into precision reloading. I want to become educated in ballistics and all that is needed to make consistently accurate long range shots. Where do I go to get such data? Any and all advice, suggestions and recommendations will be tremendously appreciated!

Thanks,

Richard

Take a look at "Precision Shooting at 1000 Yards" by
Dave Brennan. It will fit what your looking for.

Also might looking into Bryan Litz's "applied ballistics"
books. I have not read these myself yet.

There was a thread a year or two ago about LRS books
I'm sure you could use the search and find it.
