bonded bullets for long range hunting

I've been shooting 160 gr. Accubonds since they came out, first in 7mm Rem and the last few years in 7 WSM, mostly on moose and caribou from 80 to 710 yds. They're as close to perfect as I can find. I've also had great luck with 150 gr Scirrocos. The only diff. is that while Scirrocos supposedly have a bigger % weight retention, I've found that the Accubonds have a little more retention and a little less expansion. Also with the max. safe loads for each, the 160 gr is slightly flatter past 600 yds.

I forgot to mention my one complaint about Accubonds. Their polimer tips seem to be softer than others, including the Scirrocos, and will deform in the magazine after only one shot.
