hey guys. Looking to remove the handle from my sleeved remington bolt. Im worried about heating the bolt to much and having the sleeves come off. Should i cut and grind the handle off?

What s your reason for removal? Placement distance from the action is critically important for proper ejection.

There's a Smith in Alaska who will do it for a small fee. Around $75 if memory serves.

I agree, removal is easy but proper reattachment is the real challenge

I want to replace/move position so i have better extraction. Right now the handle is giving no help with extraction.

Then contact this man. I believe he'll ask you to take some measurements then ship the bolt to him . He'll move the handle to give better primary extraction. I believe he charged my dad $75 including return shipping.
