bolt flutting

is there a big advantage in having your bolt flutted?
if so who would your reccomend to do the work?

Less weight=not by much

If you get something in your action it will hopefully go into the flutes and not marr your bolt.

I am reaching here. Mainly for the looks:D

Looks and a wee bit of weight saved. The only fluted bolt I have came with the action from BAT so I couldn't recommend anyone based on my personal experience.
 
Flutting reduces the surface area of the bolt, which can reduce friction between the bolt and bore. It also gives debris a place to go instead of fowling up the rotation.
