Did the barrel break in today. Didn't shoot for groups. 8 shots of the factory Hornady had an average MV of 2886. Hopefully shoot some groups and finish break in on Sunday weather permitting.
What grain bullets, maybe I missed that post?

I imagine there is an AW Alex Wheeler version of the SAAMI reamer. If I build I will check on that.Yes, I believe the saami is good enough. I was in the process of building a 7mmRem and at the last minute I asked my gunsmith if we could do the 7prc. We looked at the spec and said why not. I called Dave Manson Reamer, a couple weeks later I have a reamer and head space gauge. Waiting on ammo and brass.....

Isn't it little shy of projected mv? Wasn't it stated at 2900/2950 for the 175?
JGS has one on file. Give them a call ask for a print and compare it to saami.

What I saw was 2900-3000. After the complete break in I'm hoping it'll average closer to 3000
