Anyone using BL-C2 powder in a 6mm BR? Since Varget is scarce I was thinking of using BL-C2 in a 6MM BR. On the burn chart Varget, BL-C and CFE223 are all next to each other.

I have not, but would surely try it if that's what I had. Hodgdon list it on its reloading website. Max load is 30gn @ 2644fps (44200CUP) with a 7 1/2 Rem primer. Of course you know, YMMV. :)

Agree with johnnyk use what you have or can get. When I couldn't find Varget I discovered IMR 8208 XBR and it works well in my 6 BR.

I don't have any BL-C2 at this time, but can get some. Since it is so close on the burn rate chart and looking at the load data on Hodgon site and Varget, BL-C2, CFE-223 have basically the same load data with BL-C2 the lowest in pressure for 107gr bullets. I am just looking for options.
When looking on the web, for reviews, no one in the 6mm BR competition circle uses BL-C2. Its Varget all the way. I am sure this powder has been tested by precision shooters and if it worked it would be used now. I don't just need a powder to shoot, I need a powder that shoots great. I guess I'll stick with the tried and true. Varget is slowly getting back in the market.
