I have a pair of minolta 8-20x50 binos that I would like to use for spotting. Does any one know of a universal bino mount for a tripod. I already have a tripod but no way to mount my binos on it. Any homemade or otherwise would do. thanks

The homemade solution to your question is:
If your binos have threads for a mount on the front(chances are they do) the pitch is 1/4X20 go to the hardware store get a bracket(?) for shelving...the good ones...you`ll know when you see them

one bolt 1/4x20 half an inch length will do and a nut for 1/4x20..
get the bolt through the bracket and screw it in the binos the other side goes on the bolt on your tripod and tighten it with the nut...another solution is to call a shop that sells binos and order a mount all companies who make binos make them
hope this helps
