Biggest coyote I've shot yet.

I'm a bolt gun guy so that's not a problem. I do like having a Rosco with me but its not too big a problem. . What about mono metal bullets like the TSX or GMX. What about fmj bullets?

No problem with any type of rifle bullet you wanna use, as long it isn't explosive, tracer, or incendiary

FMJ's are fine for coyotes, but are (understandably) illegal for big game.

I'm not entirely sure. I don't think so, but you may want to look into it.

Thanks for the links. I've got them bookmarked. So far it's looking like I would need a guide. But that's OK. Possibly a Hunter Host. Not positive tho.

You can hunt coyotes in Alberta with a guide. You can not hunt coyote in Sask / only residents allowed to shoot coyotes here. Also; all firearms laws are countrywide here so effectively no difference prov to prov. Hunting regs do change though.

Wow. No non res coyote hunting. . ??? What about wolf? ?

Not here, we don't have a lot of wolves out here (although the population is growing quickly) and hunting them is not permitted.
The government would prefer to let them start eating cattle and children on a regular basis before opening a season.

I know there are wolf outfitters in Alberta, just do some googling and you should find something.
