any one used one of those large bipods where you could sit and have the bi pod exteneded did a bit of shooting where i couldnt lie down and ended up sooting off my knees and thought that sitting with a larger bipod would be the way my only concern would be the amount of flex that you would/may get from it

looking at the harris ultra lite on cabelas if that helps

I have used the Harris that goes out to 27", I think. It is OK. You can load them up. Works good while sitting.

I use the Harris 12" - 25" Swivel on my Ruger 204. Ideal for use sitting in long grass and shooting uphill, no need to lie down in the crap.
