Best way to rent a 4WD vehicle out of Denver

I am a lifetime Michigander and long time lover of the West. Haven't been out much in past twenty years of raising kids and working. Heading out this fall for Antelope hunt north of Elk Mountain, WY. Flights are booked and time to look for rental truck. Doesn't seem like rental companies are able to guarantee a vehicle. Any tips?

Seems like lots of rental companies are neglecting the truck side of things....maybe check into a home depot truck....cant hurt near as bad as any place else......heck get a big Uhaul with refer box.....lol...

Try enterprise commercial rentals ---mainly 4x4, 1 ton, 4 door, long beds with receiver hitches

Only issue is if your going to go off road....almost all rental companies have disclaimers you can't take them off road so if you were to get stuck and they found out it could cost lots of penalty fees.
