Best (out of the box) bolt action Rifle in 6.5 PRC for quality, light weight and ACCURACY

Light weight is not just under 10 lbs (Bergara)
My solution is 6.6 lbs and shoots under 1/4 MOA.
Agree. That's why I recommend the premier series. Mountain model is 6.5lbs and the Highlander is just over 7. Both can be had well under $2000 if you shop around. Both come out of the Georgia plant. The action is super smooth and clean. The premier series just plain shoot. Especially if you bed the action. Mountain and Highlander specs below.

Well now that's a bit more like it if it shoots as good as the Sauer/Mauser rifles. They are already uniquely bedded from the factory. Their bedding is like nothing seen in other rifles.

Sounds way too cheap for you but I am hearing crazy things about the Sauer and Mauser but the price is problem, too dang low!.
But yea that Bergara is a good one

He asked for the best out of the box rifle. If the Sauer/Mauser rifles are "too inexpensive"; let him go full custom and make sure to get an accuracy guarantee. But Sauer/Mauser may still outshoot it. Peek underneath that 200 yard dime!

Another day, another dime at 200 yards. If you handload, better find a nation that mints a smaller coin or better shoot at 300 or farther because a quarter is too big at 300.

I'm in the market for a new rifle in 6.5 PRC under $2,000. I'm looking to hear your experience with out of the box quality, light weight and accuracy. This will be for LR hunting antelope, deer and Tx hogs. I reload and always try to get sub MOA at a minimum. Thanks
There was one poor fella out here just got a prc built and couldn't find bullet one to put in it. The reloaders here took care him. Might think of ammunition or brass, primers, and powder first.

Just got back from Deer camp where a fellow their had a brand new Savage 110 Ultra light in a 6.5 creed with carbon wrapped barrel and a Vortex 5 x 25 on a 20 MOA rail. His wife had gotten him for Christmas. ( she got a diamond bracelet). The rifle had never been shot and only boresighted. Somebody gave him 2 boxes of 120 gr. Hornday match ammo. First day he shoots 3 shots total a 100 yards to sight in at zero. In the back of my mind I snicker because he didn't shoot any 5 shot groups. Next day I ask if I can look at his rifle and we get to talking about setting up his ballistic app. using the velocity off the ammo box and subtracting 50 fps for his 22 in barrel. The guy had never shot further then 100 yards in his life so I say you want to try a 300 yard shot. I loan him a rear back and get him set-up and he uses hash marks on first shot and rings 8 in steel plate. Next shot we dial up and ring plate and I ring it on the 6 th shot out of the gun. Shots 7,8,9 ever out of the gun we ring the plate every time at 500 yards. We were shooting with a 15 mph quartering wind. At that point we decided he probably ought to save his ammo so we quit for the day. Needless to say I was impressed with the new out of the box, mass produced factory rifle shooting factory ammo compared to my custom barrel rifles and all the load development I went though to get my rifles to be shooters. That particular rifle action is blueprinted at the Savage factory. Just sharing.
