Best method to paint a HS stock?

I have a project gun that I have been working on for a while and the stock needs a fresh paint. Can anyone offer tips on how to prep and what kind of paint is best for these types of stocks? I just don't know how the Kevlar and fiberglass shell will take paint...surely don't want it to look worse but being uninformed.

I have had real good luck with Brownells Alumna-Hide. I spray want ever color and then always use their clear over it. It's done a great job on all the H-S and other stocks I have done with it.
