Best hammer bullet for 6.5 PRC

I don't question the merits of the 124 HH, they shot well in my .260.

My next order will be for the often overlooked 121 Heavy Hammer Hunter. It just reflects my belief a slightly better stabilized bullet gives better terminal performance.

Plus I've seen a few barrels now that haven't measured as advertised, including some customs.

I would be glad to share.
Im using N165 which is close too R 23 on the burn chart suposed too be a clean and cool burning powder with a decoppering agent. Im using it with 3 different hammer bullets in 2 diff 6.5 Prc rifles 1st rifle pre 64 mod 70 win 25 in Bartlein 7.5 twist 131 gr hammer hunter 57.3 grs cci250 2.970 oal 3190 2nd rifle Curtis Axiom 26 in proof 1.8 twist 124 gr hammer 58.3 grs cci250 3300 fps then worked load up with 123 gr absolutes in the proof barrel and finished at 3452 with63. 5grs compressed load oal 2.955 accuracy is great in both rifles using N165 Next powder will be N 560 but is a double base powder and is harder on the throat looking for 3500 fps with the 123 gr absolutes good luck on your loading

I used the 131HH in my 6.5SS w/7.5 twist, last spring bear season. 2 dead bears, but both had ovalized exit holes, normal entrance holes. The load stabilized fine on paper out to 500+ yards but hitting animals within 15 yards for one bear and 75 yards for the 2nd bear, showed the bullet wasn't stable enough. I've dropped to the 124HH and will likely drop further for next season.

I just picked up another Seekins havak. This one is 6.5 PRC, it should make a good companion to my 300 win mag.

I'd like to use this for black bear, deer, and caribou. While the 300 will get the nod when chasing moose I'd like to have a bullet up to the job if I happen to have the 6.5 when the opportunity arises.

I was thinking this would be a good time to try out one of the hammer bullets. since I have a 1-8 barrel I was thinking one of the 130, 134, or 139 shock hammers would be best. I was leaning towards the 139 thinking bigger is always better.

Anyone have any experience with the heavier hammers in the 6.5 PRC? Where is a good place to start for load data.

thanks
I used 156 gr. Berger EOL's in my 6.5 MPR in S. Africa last month on Zebra (350 yards) Eland (280 yards) Bushbuck (245 yards) Kudu (90 yards) and Impala (180 yards) Each animal was 1 shot kill with the exception of the Eland which went down but needed a finishing shot. The Eland weighed at least 1,200 pounds according to my PH.
