best bullet for elk with 338 lapua

250 accubonds work great in my 338 rum, 250 bergers have worked great on bears.

I have not used the 265 LRABs yet but I have in smaller calibers with great success

The 250 Berger Elite Hunters shoot slightly smaller groups at 400yds but I have not used them on game (yet). :>)

If you don't find something over the counter, plenty of "custom" ammunition manufacturers out there.

Thanks for the info I'll give them a try. I shoot the 180 grain accubond in my Roger 300 win mag and Hart rifle. The furthest elk I got so far was 634 yds. That was with a 300 win mag Hart rifle with 180 accubond
