BEST 308 LOADS FOR 1K+ SHOOTING

Since quite a few people on this board use the 308, I was wondering what is the best load combo for shooting 1k+. Say going from a 175gr up to a 240gr (if it would work).

The 190 JLK with Hodgdon 4350, or the Berger 185 with the same powder.

My best 1K loads:

Rifle: Factory Win Stealth
Brass: Lapua
Primers: Fed 210M
Powder: Varget 45gr
Bullet: 175SMK bright
OAL 2.827"

This load goes 2715 out of a factory 26" barrel/chamber. No pressure at 110*

My most accurate load inside 300 yards:

Brass: Winchester.Black Hills (156gr)
Primer: WLR
Powder: Varget 44.2
Bullet: 175SMK bright
OAL: 2.827"
MV: 2625fps

To track the M3LR 30-06 turret, same as load 1, except 44.4gr Varget.

Fatboy, I've been out of the loop a little while now. When you say the M3LR 30-06 turret what are you referring to

The reason why I was asking is becuase I just got a GRENDELL SRT in 308. It's very nice and compact (folding stock)

. Don't know if it will reach out to 1k+

but will be trying

. Any imput for such a short barrel would be a great help.
