I use both H1000 and 4831SC in my 7 mag to push the amax with good results. If I remember right, I tried Retumbo and it didn't do too badly either.

I didn't write that one down, guess I'll just have to try some again

I talked to a real nice guy in Alabama a couple of weeks ago he said he realy liked Clinch River 6.5mm bullets, 137 grain i think. Ebb

Actually, i just called Cinch River boys. They make a 147 gr., but they're not sure what it's B.C. is, as it's never been tested for such. They're assuming somewhere in the lower to mid 6's. Both the 140 JLK, and Berger are .630, so... According to what they told me, that bullet just set the new 1000 yd. record at around 1.5" 5 shots-- i believe.

I think I have some 7mm JLK 180 grainers buried @ the bench. Would you want a couple for dissection? I have Cauterucio 176 & 156s also....
