Berger VLD 300 RUM Loads?

I know that most loads you want to seat the bullet 10-15 thousands of an inch from the lands and the bergers are different but what do you guys mean by jump?

My very first and only load for my spanking new 300 RUM is

88.0 gr 7828 (Its what I had)
190 Berger VLD
Rem Brass
CCI Mag Primer
COAL 3.70"

There was no Berger load data to base it on, so I took the max loads for that powder for 180 and 200 gr noslers and split it.

No clue on the velocity, but I think it is relatively slow. Very accurate though, dime sized groups at 100 yards. I took it on its first hunt an hour after I threw the loads together and crushed a 12 pt whitetail at 160 yards. DRT.

Anxious to try some hotter loads through a chronograph. I think I'm in love with the RUM.
