Does anyone out there know if the 300 grain 338 OTM's will tolerate being driven at about 3400 ft./s?

No speculation please!

IIRC, kirby tried to destroy them in a 338 AM, very hot loads and a ton of rounds down a very hot bore. They held up fine.

greg what powder are you guys running? Looks like your getting about 25 fps per inch of extra barrel on me. Your DCM is similar to what I'm shooting.

It's interesting how much bad information is out there on this case!

I settled on 20N29.

I have noticed I can't get the same performance from a different lot of brass with my 375 DCMs, so it looks like my first lot brass is harder than the current lot.

This is the same "harder" brass that I use with 338 DCM.
