They have the 115 gr for 10 twist. They can't magically change the law of physics for the 135.
Something has to give. We have complained about crappy options for the quarter bore. Then better options come out (131 BJ and 135 Berger). It doesn't seem right to complain about getting a new barrel to utilize them. This happens with all heavier/higher BC bullets and is expected.
AND a 257 Bee burns barrels pretty easily/often... so a new barrel is in your future regardless.
Fortunately I just got a 7.5 twist for my torched 257 wby.
As I've said before, always glad to have options...TY Berger for providing another.

A member posted here that Hornady is working on a 135 ATip. That one will be interesting if it has any substance. Pretty sure Hornady would answer Berger's 135 either way.

First the 135 Berger. Just hearing about the 133 elite hunter now and Sierra releasing a 110 Game Changer. Three heavier .257 bullets coming out together is pretty good news for the .257 crowd. The 135 and 133 Berger's. 131 Blackjack. 115 Nosler BT and Hornady 110 ELDX gives the .257 a decent plate of food finally. I'm sure Hornady will add another heavier bullet eventually.

I just saw something about the 133 Elite Hunter today on another forum. 25 cal was my first love (257 weatherby) but then it was a 6.5mm in all its variants. Custom 257 is in my future.

Not what I was expecting but I'll take it, the 25 cal world just got a Berger with decent bc added, now I can proceed with my 25 cal wildcats that I set aside for a bit

Was hoping Berger would get 338 cal 329 gr bullet out to start off 2021 but I'll take the 25 cal 135 gr LRHT , got a couple 257 screamers in the works

Well that sucks, was hoping for a heavy JLC high bc bullet, oh well, I still have a bunch of 325 gr Chinchaga RBT ST bullets and they work great for moose,

Looks like Berger has notified online retailers of it's demise, last Sunday I screenshot the 329 gr bullet on Midways website and it was listed as"temporarily unavailable", just checked Midway and it's now listed as "discontinued"

the good news is that Badlands Precision is making the new high bc Super Bulldozer 2 in 275 gr and I've got some coming

I ran some simulations with the MERC calculator between the .257 SBD2 running 3300 vs the 131 gr ACE at 3150. That was my best guess for comparable speeds. Essentially the same hit percentage out to 1000 unless you're talking super windy..in which case I'm not shooting very far to begin with. I've got both on hand just need my dang build to get finished!

the sbd2s are sorta out-of-bounds from a twist perspective. a 7 twist is too fast for a good portion of the other bullets available. I have a 7.5 twist for my bee and that's on the edge of being too much for the 131 BJ. nothing against sbd2s otherwise. I'm trying to add bullet options, not bet the farm on 3 or less bullets.
