I've been shooting these things for a LOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG time.
This was a first. Literally blew entire shoulder and arm off.
(Yes it was at 40 yards but still....)

Dang that’s some damage! I wasn’t sure how those new LRHT would expand with the closed meplats they have. I guess they sure opened up on that hog lol.

I'm a Texas and Oklahoma pig hunter. Generally leased land, stands, and feeders. Over the years friends have tried everything from who can get the most with one shot on a feeder trough so the pigs line up to long distance shooting.

I've seen failures using Sierra match king bullets. The bullets aren't made to stay together. Jacket and core. I haven't justified thermal video optics yet. LOL us poor folk still use green laser illuminators

Have you found these to be a good deer bullet? Currently using 135 Classic Hunters in a 6.5 CM. Like the numbers on these if they'll do similar work on a whitetail.

Thanks for posting! Sounds like a great bullet choice, now you can go out and collect a should or ham and go get the rest on next trip!
