Bergara hmr 300 winchester magnum.

I bought the bergara last fall as a backup for my son's elk hunt, as the stock broke on his other rifle. However we were able to get a replacement stock on his other rifle in time, so all I ended up doing was just mounting the scope on this and sighted it in. It shot factory ELDX 200gr well. Bolt is extremely smooth... smoother than my tikkas... and that is saying something.
I bought it 2nd hand, the previous owner told me the following about it;
"The rifle has had less than 200 rounds through it. The barrel was broken in by fire once, and clean for five shots, fire three times and clean for 15 shots, fire five times and clean for 20 shots. The rifle really likes the 210 grain Bergers and Hornady 212 eldx for factory ammo. Groups were typically 3/4 inch or less at 100 yards with those two and right around an inch for others. The only thing it didn't care for was some Federal 150 grain soft point ammo. It was more like 1 1/2 inches. I haven't had any issues with it at all, and I am selling due to the fact that I have decided to go with the 6.5 PRC as my main rifle setup."
