So my gun has not shown any preference for bullet or velocity. Everything I shoot factory and handloads groups in .4 to .6 moa range. No special magic nodes where it goes into one hole groups but also no special nodes where it will not shoot .5. Cool bore hits same hole as hot barrel. Being this gun is my hunter gun I'm VERY happy with how consistent it is and I have never had a gun like this. Usually they are bullet load sensitive. How many have a gun like this that just seems to shoot anything well? All I did was bed lug and tang area when I got it. Thus far I have shot factory winchester LR 142AB's, factory Fed 120gr, HL's using RL26 with 143ELDx, velocities have ranged from 2600 to 2900 all so far .6moa or better. With my HL's it shoots 47 gr RL26 at 70 degrees .4moa and same 47 gr at 100 degrees .4moa even tho the speed went from 2848 to 2878. I've never had a gun this consistent. I shot a 1.5" 500yd group last week although 2 other groups were 2.5".

Yep, I have the same rifle and same experience. It shot factory ammo in little bitty groups. My first attempt at reloading I had 7 different powder charges. 4 of the seven were one hole. All were under 1/2”. This is my last 5 shot group.

Mines the same. Just started with some R26 and 147 eld-m and I'm getting 1" 200 yd groups with every load. My h4350 140 eld-m load is so consistent it gets kinda boring.

Thats awesome man, I have a browning 270 that I can get to shoot very well but its very picky on velocity/bullet and big temp swings effect its groups. This Bergara just shoots every bullet combo into a nice group.

What was it that Whelen said, “Only accurate rifles are interesting.” Ya that’s it. :)

My Sako A7 in 6.5cm is like that, shoots anything well. Good guns are just good I guess. I wonder if it’s why 308win and 6.5cm are described as inherently accurate cartridges?

Love my HMR and have the same experience for the most part. I hand load now and have a best 4 shot group of .132 but consistent 1/4 to 1/3moa with SDs of 5. Just an outstanding rifle all around.

I have a Christensen Arms 300 WM that shoots everything well. Doesn’t matter if it’s the $21.00 per box factory ammo or handloads they are all .3-.7 MOA at 100. Couldn’t be happier with it.
