I am looking at a new stock for a .223 R700, the B&C medalist has caught my eye. Are they any good? How do they compare to the HS sporter stocks?

I have had a couple of B&C medalist in the tactical. They have served me well. For the price you can't beat them. I have since went with mcmillan's just because I like the looks of the marble better.

I had one on a Savage 110. The only issue I had was the action screw was to long and it caused my action bolt to stick. I hit the bolt with a flat file and cleaned up the threeds no more bolt stick. The rifle shoot ok around 1" with Fed GMM 168g after I got the stock the group was more like 1/4" not bad for 180$ I would say.

I have one on my 6.5/284 savage, and i love it!It is verry comfortable when shooting.
