Been after this guy since opening day

You'll be fine at 350. I shot a buck this year with the 124 HH out of my 6.5cm and impact velocity was right around 2400. Complete pass through, didn't even find a petal. He was quartering away hard, entered behind left shoulder, exited the brisket in front of right shoulder. Heart was sliced in half. looked like from a petal shearing off.
Confirmed cold bore and insurance shot today, 200 yards.

Nice job, where did you take him? I took a slick-6 3x3 a couple of years ago in Throckmorton Co. that needed to be killed as well. A mature buck is a mature buck.

Well, for the meat hunter, at least a Texas mature buck is a Texas mature buck. LOL.

Congrats on the success and kudos on your persistance.

Thank you.

Off Hamilton Pool Road in Travis County, south of Hiway 71.

Don't know if these were bred by it. There are 4 of these running around. Next year or so they will be sausage meat if they don't develop better horns.
