[QUOTE="yobuck, post: 1890849, member: 12443"] Our camp is located in Cameron Co. which is area wise one of the smallest counties in the state. So some of our hunting spills over into neiboring counties including Clearfield. I moved to Florida when i retired now over 20 years ago, but i still return to our camp when ever i can and always for the deer season. My route on the 1200 mile trip takes me over to Phillipsburg, then south to I 99/220 down thru the Bedford area. Then i pick up I 68 at Cumberland Md, west to WV where i can spend the rest of the day driving before reaching the VA state line. It can be hard for me keeping my eyes on the road for much of that trip, especially thru the mountains of both WV and VA. Problem you will find in both of those states and others as well is access to the land in order to hunt, since so much of what you see as you drive is actually private property. In that regard, Pa hunters are among the luckiest in the country with regard to access to lots of public owned land. Not so in neiboring states, who also have the same type terrain to hunt as we do.
