I was going to make you all wait to see this till Elkoholic307 got the next video done but I cant resist. The shooter is my dad with his 300wby 180TTSX

My first time seeing the bait site from the shooting position, and a bit of perspective on how it fits into the surroundings. You did good-I like it!. Comes across as an inviting site for the bears, and pleasant place to wait. Video came through very good as well. I'm looking forward to more from elkaholic307.
 
Thanks Carl, The barrel is actually kind of in the open, its lightly covered but on the edge of some thick stuff. But I have to be 200 yards from water and this is about the best place I could find. It seems to work quite well though and it is pretty secluded I think that helps the bears feel safe coming in to it.
 
I caught the Vid on Facebook, well done. Some videos are shaky & poor quality, neither of which occur in yours. Are you guys set up in a treestand?

Tree stand??? where do you think Basin is located? OHIO? haha no we shoot from the ground prone. i dont even know how to hang a tree stand!

I wouldn't know how to hang one either.... would look awefully silly sitting on top of a sage brush....:rolleyes:

Nice video and shot, since you are using the 180 grain TTSX and you had a 300 RUM do you have any load data for that combo using H1000 you could pm me?
