Bases?

Almost done getting my edge put together. I'm using a savage action. My question is whether i should use a two-piece base or one piece. I had people tell me there might be a tight clearance with the shells with a one piece. What do you guys think?

Mine all have one piece bases and no clearance issues. I use mostly one piece Picatinny style rails to prevent scope mounting issues also.
