Hi all,
I am having a conundrum, have recently opened up my Win Model 70 EW in 338WM to 8-40 screws, did the same to my other Model 70's too a while back. Trouble is, unlike before, I cannot find any std bases that come adaptable for 8-40 screws like I have in the past.

Would anybody have the correct part # or where I can find some?
I can modify the set I already have, but I may need them for another build in the works.

Cheers.

What kind of bases are you wanting? I don't know what a "std" base is.

Well, should have mentioned that...doh.
I am after a set of Leupold std type bases, non PRW or QRW.
The trouble being now the website for Leupold is rather difficult to navigate.

Cheers.

I just went to Leupold's site and typed 8-40 in their search and got 2 pages worth of bases listed. Should find what you're looking for.

Thanks, the same page I found. Mark 4 stuff is not what I'm looking for.
I'll just have to mill the ones I have.

Cheers.

Thanks guys, all sorted, I milled out the ones I have and have ordered a 20MoA rail for the other project.
Just found some interesting Australian made/owned LR/target scopes. A FFP 4.5-27×50 or SFP 4.5-27x50 R3 I will use the latter on a new 264WM I'm building on a Sendero II action.

Cheers.
