bases for scope

sir,
i have a 1970s 24 powder leupold scope.
to put it on a 700 mag action on the long version what bases do i need to get usful work from my adjustments?the scope has 1/4 min now.

Gary.You might want to look into the Leupold Long Range one peice base.I has a 15 MOA taper.Natchez has them for $19.00.I just put one on my STW with Burris ring's with the .10 insert's.And I'm using 3 click's from the bottom for my 100 yard zero.
