I posted a similar question about a week but I don't think I gave enough info. The gun is a 700 RUM w/sporter barrel. Scope is a Leupold 4.5-14X50 (1inch tube) that is at Leupold right now getting target turrets installed. I had it on a flat 1 piece Leupold base with Leupold rings. I want to be able to get to 1000 yards. I shoot 210 VLD Bergers. I am looking hard at an EGW or Seekins base, but don't know if I need a 20 MOA base or not. So, if you were in my position which base and rings would you use? What height rings? Or should I just stick with what I got? Thanks.
