Barrett bors for computer idiots?

Looking for some glass to top a .50 interested in a leopold mark 4 with a bors system. Anyone out there have experience with this? Is it just a fancy ballistics computer? I won't use it for anything but long range paper punching on the .50 but I would like to try it on my AR's for hunting, can I switch it off to my other scopes? I like the concept just want to drop the extra $ on it if its not worth it.

I can't speak about the BORS system, but if you are looking for "top glass" I would look at either Schmidt & Bender or Premier. I have the Mark 4 on my 7 SAUM and it works good, just not what I consider top glass. My next builds will have Premier.
