Barrel Change?

For you guys that are smater than me.

I have a barrel that was on a Weatherby MKV that did not shoot very well so I just replaced it with a new Hart barrel. My question is, what would it take to have it rechambered to 7 rum from a 7 rm mag and screwed on a rem 700 action?

Dose any one know if this is possible or just a waste of time!

any takers or am i wasting my time with haveing the threads recut and put on the rem action I have.

The threads are the same pitch and size on the Weatherby MK 5 and the
Remingtion actions.

So if you wanted to go from a 7 rem mag in a Weatherby to a 7 RUM
in a remingtion action all the smith would have to do is a slight setback
on the sholder and rechamber to 7 RUM.

Or rechamber untill all of the old chamber was gone and set head space
by moving the shoulder forward.
