Hello all,

Have just purchased a Sako 75 Varmint in 6.5 x 55 Swede.

Anyway, when I do get to shoot it I want to make sure I look after the bore. I believe many people break in the barrel slowly, cleaning after each shot for 20 or more shots. Any advice on a good routine for break-in?

Regards & thanks,

Mike O'Sullivan

Due to the smooth bore of the Sako, shouldnt need a lot of break in. Make sure you clean, clean, clean, the rifle BEFORE you shoot it.

This to me is more important than cleaning every shot for 20, or however it goes.
