Barrel break in/sight in?

Ok i have a new barrel to break in and a scope to sight in. My question is, im working up a new load, but havent shot it yet. Is there an issue with sighting and breaking in barrel with factory ammo? Any advice is appreciated?

I agree. But, you can also begin load development from day 1. The characteristics may change within the first 200 or so rounds. But, you can still collect a lot of good data regardless of whether you're using factory ammo or handloads.

K thanks. I was just concerned with using factory ammo, since once i get my load work up i will no longer be shooting factory ammo through this rifle.
