all the barrels above will work just fine -I think I have experience with most of the above and my very best barrel was a cheep federal from pennsy somewhere. I live in the Kalispell montana area and we make real food stuff here. I will vote for Douglas and E R Shaw. I belive the latter makes barrels for savage coustom stuff and they are real accuarate.

I am recommending Preferred Barrel located in Utah. Latest is a 300WSM build that will likely be the most accurate rifle I have ever owned.
